Enjoy a Free Guided Tour of the historic Vinegar Hill Battlefield on Monday 16th August. The tour will focus on the famous Battle of Vinegar Hill which occurred on 21st June 1798, alongside an overview of the 1798 Rebellion, including the factors which influenced the Rebellion and its legacy.
The tour will commence at 2 pm on Vinegar Hill. Places are limited, therefore pre-booking is essential.

Wednesday 18th of August
Enjoy Free Admission to the National 1798 Rebellion Centre on Wednesday, 18th of August, as part of National Heritage Week 2021. You are invited to visit the National 1798 Rebellion Centre and explore the history and the legacy of the 1798 Rebellion.

A free “Weapons Display” will take place outside the Centre on Wednesday the 18th of August at 11 am. (weather permitting). This display will give details of the weapons utilized by the both sides during the 1798 Rebellion. No booking required as this is an outdoor display.
