Visitors can visit our sister attraction Enniscorthy Castle (8 mins walk) Failte Ireland Visitor Information Point. The Athenaeum Museum is also 10 mins.walk on Castle Street. The fantastic, award winning National 1798 Rebellion Centre visitor attractions in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, guarantees to provide a fun, yet informative school tour for your students, in a safe and non-weather dependent environment.

For your students … our exciting new ‘Rebellion’ Experience explores the political and economic background of Ireland  in 18th Century using state of the art interactive experiences and precisely ties in with the Politics, Conflict and Society Strandof the Primary  School Curriculum, exploring the idea of Revolution and Change in America, France, and Ireland.
Your pupils will meet the key figures of the 1798  Rebellion, participate of our amazing 4D battle of Vinegar Hill interpretation, discover what life was like in rural Ireland in 18thCentury, and even learn  how weapons from the period were fired.
The fun element of the school tour is achieved through the fantastic interactive displays, videos and  exhibitions.
Tours last approximately 1 hour and include a themed “Rebel” or “Redcoat” guide. If your group has any particular interests or requirements please let  us know and we will tailor our tours to suit your schools necessities.
