Culture Night Event: Inis Córthaidh CCÉ
Friday the 18th of September at 7.30pm to 9pm.
“The Inis Córthaidh branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann will showcase the very best of Irish traditional music, song and dance on Friday evening, September 18th in the historic town of Enniscorthy. The National 1798 Rebellion Centre will come alive as musicians of all ages perform a diverse programme of tunes, including The Boys of Wexford, Mount Leinster Way and The Concertina Reel. The evening will also feature local ballads such as The Croppy Boy, celebrating the area’s rich musical and historical heritage. Joining the performers will be dancers from the Wexford Academy of Irish Dance and Celtic Roots, adding colour and energy to what promises to be a memorable celebration of traditional Irish culture. It is an event not to be missed.”
