What to expect
Whether you are visiting one, two or all three sites, our tour guides will bring your group through an engaging and informative journey.
Maximum group size is 20-30 people. Larger tours will be broken into smaller groups and can be rotated through the different sites.
We tailor the tour to suit your group, whether aged 9 or 92!

What you need to know
Tours at the National 1798 Rebellion Centre take 45-60 minutes. Some can be longer or shorter depending on your time constraints. Tours of Enniscorthy Castle are 30-45 minutes. The tour of Vinegar Hill may require a 5-minute walk down a narrow lane (not accessible by coach bus). The tour itself is 30-40 minutes, including a stroll to the top of the hill for photos.

How To Get Here

By Car
From north of county Wexford, make your way south on the M11 to the Enniscorthy exit. From West of county Wexford, make your way to the N80 and follow signs for Enniscorthy/Rosslare and at the roundabout for the N11, take to exit to Enniscorthy. From the south, head for the N25 through New Ross and follow signs for Enniscorthy.

By Train
From Connolly Station in Dublin or all points North, take the Rosslare Europort train and exit at Enniscorthy Station. The 1798 Centre is only a 15 minute walk away.

By Bus
Bus Eireann No. 2 or Wexford Bus southbound from Dublin Airport or Dublin city centre to the Enniscorthy stop. The 1798 Centre is only a 10 minute walk away.Free parking is available for cars and coaches.
