A new and exciting event will take place in Enniscorthy this June as part of the 1798 Commemorations
On the 21st June 2026 a Guided Interactive Historical Tour will take place in the afternoon, led by renowned and decorated actor, historian and raconteur, Fintan Kelly
The Tour will feature visits and stops to many areas of historical and cultural interest, and as its centrepiece will be The Town of Enniscorthy itself, that was first established in 510 AD.
The tour will incorporate historical detail, delivered in great style by Fintan but will also feature songs, historical speeches and period costumes.
Commencing at 3pm at the Tour de France Statue, The Fairgreen, the tour will wind its way through the town and will finish with a bus transfer to Vinegar Hill to participate in the Official Commemorations at 6pm (Bus transfer back to the Fairgreen at 7pm).
