Bringing the vivid details of the 1798 Rebellion to your students
We offer group guided tours for primary, secondary and language schools at the National 1798 Rebellion Centre, Vinegar Hill and Enniscorthy Castle. Your group is welcome to book one tour or all three. Contact us and we will help organise the right tour for your group. Tours last about 45 minutes.
Our knowledgeable tour guides can come to your school or venue and present on a number of topics related to the 1798 Rebellion, bringing history directly to your students. Please contact us for details and availability.
This booklet was prepared with support from Wexford County Council and is a valuable resource for teachers and any people with an interest in the history of the 1798 Rebellion. In easy to read language and with a detailed bibliography, the booklet is available in pdf form here and as a printed A5 booklet at the National 1798 Rebellion Centre.

Our on-site cafe can offer a set menu for groups of up to 40. Please contact us for pricing and availability. Small groups are welcome to reserve a table in the cafe for a meal.
The National 1798 Rebellion Centre has a large grassy area suitable for picnics and a few outdoor picnic tables for public use.
Coach parking available for 2 buses and additional space on the road.
